Key points

  • Celestica reported third quarter revenue of 5.83 billion dollars, a rise of 83 percent from 3.19 billion dollars in the third quarter of 2025.

Celestica reported third quarter revenue of 5.83 billion dollars, a rise of 83 percent from 3.19 billion dollars in the third quarter of 2025. The result was above the top of the company guidance range of 5.25 billion dollars to 5.55 billion dollars. Adjusted earnings were 3.30 dollars a share, up from 1.58 dollars a share in the same quarter a year earlier.

The adjusted earnings figure was also above the company guidance range of 2.88 dollars to 3.08 dollars a share. On a GAAP basis, earnings were 3.26 dollars a share, up from 2.31 dollars a share a year earlier. GAAP net earnings were 397.2 million dollars for the quarter. Both measures of profit rose at the same time as revenue, and both came in ahead of the ranges the company had set for itself.

Segment results

Revenue in the Connectivity and Cloud Solutions segment rose 102 percent to 4.87 billion dollars, the largest part of the company total for the quarter. Hardware Platform Solutions revenue rose 70 percent to about 2.3 billion dollars. Revenue in the Advanced Technology Solutions segment rose 23 percent to 960 million dollars. The adjusted operating margin reached 8.5 percent, up from 7.6 percent in the third quarter of 2025.

The segment figures show where the growth sat in the quarter. Connectivity and Cloud Solutions brought in 4.87 billion dollars of the 5.83 billion dollar total, while Advanced Technology Solutions brought in 960 million dollars. Both sides of the company grew during the quarter, and the connectivity and cloud business grew at the faster rate. The margin figure also moved up, from 7.6 percent a year earlier to 8.5 percent this quarter.

Outlook for 2026 and 2027

Celestica raised its revenue forecast for the full year 2026 to 21 billion dollars. For 2027, the company forecast revenue of 40 billion dollars, an increase of about 90 percent from the 2026 forecast. The company cut its free cash flow outlook to 460 million dollars, citing working capital for 2027 growth. The lower cash flow outlook therefore sits beside a much higher revenue outlook in the same update, and the company tied the change to preparing for the larger year ahead.

The 2027 figure is the largest number in the report. A forecast of 40 billion dollars follows a 2026 forecast of 21 billion dollars, which itself follows a third quarter in which revenue grew 83 percent year on year. The company gave the outlook in the same release as the third quarter results, reported on Monday, October 26, 2026.

Share price reaction

The share price moved in two directions around the report. Celestica New York listed shares fell about 5 percent to 246.65 dollars in regular trading on Monday, just above the 52 week low of 244.51 dollars. After the results were out, the shares jumped nearly 17 percent in after hours trading and in premarket trading on Tuesday, October 27. The regular session close and the later jump frame the quarter for investors: the stock sat near its low for the year before the numbers, and buyers returned once the revenue and outlook figures were public.
