Victoria's Secret has a new Angel, and she did not come through an agency shortlist. Solange Omon, 21, won the brand's nationwide Angels Among Us casting search and made her runway debut at the 2026 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in Los Angeles on Sunday night, October 18.

Omon is originally from Cameroon and now lives in Maine, where she is a full-time college student and has modeled in multicultural fashion shows, according to her finalist profile. She is the oldest of six siblings. People reports that she also works with nonprofit youth programs in Maine, mentoring Black and immigrant young people.

Chosen from thousands

The search was the brand's first open Angel casting since 2017. Thousands entered through open calls and applications, and the process played out in the Angels Among Us docuseries on YouTube, which has been streaming since September. Casting stops included Chicago, Miami, Houston and Los Angeles. Omon first appeared at the Chicago casting and made the top 10.

By Sunday night the field was down to three finalists: Omon, Andreina Martinez Founier and Tatyana Tinsley. Omon was named the winner during the show and walked the runway in golden wings. Her prize includes an exclusive modeling contract with IMG Models.

"I was speechless," Omon told People after getting the call that moved her into the next round. She said she drove straight to her mother's home to share the news, and called that day the happiest of her life.

The rest of the night

The show streamed live on YouTube and on the brand's Instagram and TikTok pages, starting at 7:30 p.m. ET. The Fantasy Bra, absent in recent years, returned to the runway, worn by Kylie Jenner. Adriana Lima walked the show for the 21st time. The music lineup was all women: Megan Thee Stallion, who also performed on the runway, KATSEYE, Tate McRae and Megan Moroney.

For Victoria's Secret, the point of the night was the casting itself. The brand opened its doors to the public, filmed the search, and put the winner on the runway the same night she was announced. Whether Omon becomes a lasting face of the brand is a question for the next campaign. On Sunday, the search that started in mall casting calls ended with a 21-year-old student from Maine in golden wings.
