Kylie Jenner Wears $50 Million Fantasy Bra at Victoria's Secret Show

The loudest cheer of the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show on Sunday night was not for a model. Kylie Jenner, 29, walked the runway at Sony Studios in Culver City, Los Angeles, wearing the $50 million Fantasy Bra, in her first appearance at the show. In the front row, her mother Kris Jenner filmed on her phone while Jenner's boyfriend, actor Timothée Chalamet, clapped and cheered beside her.

The bra is the story. Made with luxury jeweller Jacob and Co, it holds 4,410 natural diamonds with a total weight of 1,373.39 carats. The centre stone is a 75.54 carat Fancy Vivid Yellow diamond valued at about $22 million on its own. The whole piece is worth $50 million, which makes it the most expensive Fantasy Bra the brand has ever shown. The previous record was the $15 million bra Gisele Bündchen wore in 2000. Jenner paired it with white feathered wings and a white set, and she is the first person who is not a Victoria's Secret Angel to wear the Fantasy Bra, according to InStyle.

A tradition returns after eight years

The Fantasy Bra dates to 1996, when Claudia Schiffer wore an early version called the Million Dollar Miracle Bra. Heidi Klum, Tyra Banks, Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio and Jasmine Tookes all wore one over the years. The last Fantasy Bra walked in 2018, worn by Elsa Hosk in a Swarovski design. The show itself went away for six years and came back in 2024. This year it moved to Los Angeles after years in New York, and the brand used the night to bring its most famous prop back with it.

The piece took work: 15 craftspeople spent more than 1,000 hours building it, and it weighs just under four pounds, with no fabric in the construction. Victoria's Secret executive creative director Adam Selman told Vogue the choice of Jenner came down to reach: "Kylie really extends beyond fashion, beyond culture, beyond TV, beyond one singular thing."

The rest of the night

Bella Hadid opened the show in a floral set with butterfly style wings. Her sister Gigi Hadid returned in metallic wings covered in sequins. Barbara Palvin walked with her husband Dylan Sprouse in the audience, and Abby Champion was cheered by Patrick Schwarzenegger. The show also introduced its newest Angel, chosen from a nationwide casting call, and our earlier report covered her selection. Performances came from Megan Thee Stallion, Megan Moroney, Tate McRae and the group Katseye.

Why it matters

Fashion shows do not usually lead entertainment coverage on a Monday morning. This one did, because the brand put its most valuable object on its most followed guest. Jenner runs a cosmetics business and one of the largest social media audiences in the world, and the clips of Chalamet and Kris Jenner reacting in the front row spread as fast as the runway walk itself. For Victoria's Secret, still rebuilding the show after its long break, the $50 million number was the headline it wanted: a record, easy to repeat, attached to a face people search for.
