How the series got here

Golden State won Game 1 at home on October 17, 68-64. Atlanta answered in Game 2 on October 19, winning 79-65 behind 30 points and 16 rebounds from Angel Reese.

The series then moved to Atlanta, where the Dream won Game 3 on Wednesday night, 97-71, at a sold-out State Farm Arena. Reese scored 21 points with 12 rebounds, Rhyne Howard scored 16, and Atlanta pulled away with a 25-17 third quarter and a 26-14 fourth. It was Reese's third double-double in three Finals games.

Games 3 and 4 are being played at State Farm Arena, the home of the Atlanta Hawks, after the league moved them from the Dream's usual Gateway Center Arena home so thousands more fans could attend. The Dream set the game up as a White-Out, after Game 3 was staged as a Blue-Out, according to AtlantaFI.

USA Today reported on Saturday that Reese and Howard were both named to the All-WNBA second team. No player on either roster made the first team.
