The Buffalo Bills will be without wide receiver Joshua Palmer on Monday night in Minneapolis, and the left side of their offensive line is in doubt. The Bills ruled Palmer out in their final injury report on Saturday, November 7, after his hamstring injury kept him out of practice all week. Starting left tackle Dion Dawkins, who did not practice all week with a rib injury, was listed as questionable.

Buffalo visits the Minnesota Vikings on Monday, November 9, at U.S. Bank Stadium, with kickoff at 8:15 p.m. ET. The final answer on every questionable player comes 90 minutes before kickoff, when both teams release their inactive lists.

The left side of the line

Dawkins has not missed a game this season, and Saturday's report put that run at risk. A rib injury kept him out of every practice this week, but the Bills stopped short of ruling him out and left him questionable. Left guard Alec Anderson is in the same position. An ankle injury held him out of practice, and he was also listed as questionable. If either man cannot play, Buffalo will have to rebuild the left side of its line on the road, in a loud indoor stadium, hours before kickoff.

Three more Bills were listed as questionable: defensive lineman Greg Gaines with a calf injury, defensive back Jordan Hancock with a hamstring injury, and wide receiver Tyrell Shavers with a knee injury.

Palmer's stop and start season

Palmer's hamstring has followed him for more than a month. He first hurt it in Week 4, and he has been in and out of the lineup since. He returned last week but managed only seven offensive snaps before the injury flared again. He did not practice at all this week. Monday will be the second game he has missed this season, and his absence lands on a receiver group that is already carrying Shavers on the questionable list.

Two starters cleared

The report was not all losses. Tight end Dalton Kincaid practiced in full on Saturday and carries no injury designation for Monday, which puts him on track to play. Wide receiver Khalil Shakir also practiced in full on Saturday after missing practice earlier in the week for a personal issue, and he is not on the injury report. Carson Wentz starts at quarterback for Minnesota, with Kyler Murray already ruled out for the Vikings with his own hamstring injury.
