MOUZ are the IEM Beijing champions after a one sided grand final win over The MongolZ on Sunday. MOUZ won Mirage 13-5, Dust2 13-6 and Inferno 13-4 to close the best of five series 3-0, and the EsportNow playoff bracket records the final the same way, The MongolZ 0, MOUZ 3, with MOUZ listed as champion. The title is MOUZ's second trophy of 2026, after their BLAST Bounty win in August, and it ends a run in which MOUZ did not drop a single map at the event.

Mirage turned on one round

The MongolZ started the final well. On Mirage, the opening map, they took an early lead and had the MOUZ economy under control. The map turned when an overpeek by Anarbileg cobrazera Uuganbayar let MOUZ into the B site. MOUZ took control from there and won 10 of the next 11 rounds to take the map 13-5. Dorian xertioN Berman led the scoreboard for MOUZ on the map, and The MongolZ never found a way back into the series after that swing.

Dust2 and Inferno closed the sweep

Dust2 was The MongolZ's surprise pick, and it held early promise for them. Usukhbayar 910 Banzragch kept his team in the game with the AWP while the rounds stayed close. MOUZ then took over with a flawless seven round streak on the offense and won the map 13-6. On Inferno, the third map, MOUZ opened with a 9-3 offensive half and closed the map 13-4 to complete the 3-0 sweep. The final map was the most one sided of the three, and it left The MongolZ without a single map in the final.

The numbers behind the final

xertioN led MOUZ in the final with 47 kills against 32 deaths and a 1.44 rating. Lotan Spinx Giladi posted 46 kills against 27 deaths and a 1.35 rating. Across the three maps, MOUZ won 39 rounds and lost 15. MOUZ coach Dennis sycrone Nielsen spoke on stage after the match and said: "If anyone worked for it and deserved it, it's us."

A run without a dropped map

MOUZ won this Big Event without losing a map. Their run took in wins over TYLOO, BetBoom twice, PARIVISION and The MongolZ, and it puts them in an elite group of teams that have won a Big Event without dropping a map. IEM Beijing 2026 ran from November 2 to 8 in Beijing with a 1,250,000 US dollar prize pool, and the champion takes 360,000 dollars. In the third place decider at the same event, NAVI beat BetBoom 2-0, winning Mirage 13-6 and Ancient 13-9.
