A 16-year-old boy from Foxborough was arrested on Wednesday, November 4, in connection with a double homicide in Boston's Dorchester neighborhood that went more than 17 months without an arrest, Boston police and the U.S. Marshals Service said.
Officers from the Boston Police Fugitive Unit arrested the teen at about 1:50 p.m. on Wednesday in the area of Community Way in Foxborough, Boston police said. Members of the U.S. Marshals Service, the Massachusetts State Police and the Foxborough Police Department assisted in the arrest, which the Marshals Service said took place without incident. The teen was then transported to Boston.
A warrant issued the same day
A warrant for the teen's arrest was issued out of Suffolk Superior Court on November 4, Boston police said. The warrant charges two counts of murder and one count of carrying a firearm without a license, second offense. The Marshals Service described the third charge as a firearms related charge and said the teen's identity is being withheld because of his juvenile status.
Dennis Matulewicz, the Attorney General designated U.S. Marshal for the District of Massachusetts, said the arrest showed the strength of the partnership between federal, state and local agencies. He said no arrest can undo the loss of two lives, and he hoped the arrest brings some measure of comfort to the families of the victims and moves them closer to justice.
The May 2025 shooting on Franklin Hill Avenue

At about 9:47 p.m., officers from District B-3 in Mattapan responded to 38 Franklin Hill Avenue in Dorchester after a ShotSpotter activation, Boston police said. Officers found two men suffering from gunshot wounds, and both men were taken to local hospitals with life threatening injuries.
Walter Wilkens, 36, of Quincy, and Anthony McIntosh, 66, of Dorchester, both died from their injuries, according to Boston police and the Marshals Service. One man was pronounced dead first, and the second man later died from his wounds, the Marshals Service said.
