Arista Networks beat Wall Street targets by a wide margin on Tuesday, November 3, reporting third quarter revenue of $3.66 billion as demand for AI networking gear kept climbing. The company released the results after the US market close, and Investor's Business Daily reported that the stock climbed as fourth quarter guidance came in well above expectations.

Revenue for the quarter ended September 30, 2026 rose 58.5 percent from a year earlier and 20.5 percent from the second quarter. Arista said the growth rate was the highest year over year revenue growth since its IPO, and the total easily cleared the company's own guidance of about $3.3 billion. Analysts had expected revenue of $3.34 billion, according to Investor's Business Daily.

Adjusted earnings rose 60 percent from a year earlier to $1.20 a share, ahead of the $1.08 analyst estimate. On a GAAP basis, Arista earned $1.22 a share, up from $0.67 a share a year earlier. GAAP operating margin was 44.9 percent and non-GAAP operating margin was 49.1 percent, the company said in its Business Wire release.

Guidance jumps for the fourth quarter

For the fourth quarter, Arista predicted revenue of $3.95 billion at the midpoint of its guidance range. Investor's Business Daily said that figure sits well above analyst estimates of $3.60 billion. The guide points to another strong quarter for the switches and software that connect AI data centers, where Arista supplies cloud and enterprise customers.

Heading into the report, Arista shares had advanced 25 percent in 2026, according to Investor's Business Daily, even after a sharp pullback in October that left the stock well below its early October high. The earnings beat and the higher outlook give investors a fresh test of whether AI networking demand can keep growing at this pace into 2027.

Arista is based in Santa Clara, California, and sells data driven, client to cloud networking for large AI, data center, campus and routing environments. Its third quarter followed a second quarter in which revenue was $3.04 billion. The step up to $3.66 billion in one quarter underlines how quickly spending on AI clusters is moving from chips into the networking layer that links them.

The company scheduled its earnings discussion for Tuesday afternoon after the release. Investors will listen for detail on customer concentration, gross margins and how much of the fourth quarter guide depends on the largest cloud buyers.
