HubSpot beat Wall Street estimates for third quarter revenue and earnings on Nov 4, 2026, but its revenue guidance for the fourth quarter came in below what analysts expected.

The customer platform company reported total revenue of $947.6 million for the third quarter of 2026, up 17 percent from a year earlier on an as-reported basis and in constant currency. The result beat the analyst consensus estimate of $925.1 million by 2.4 percent. Non-GAAP earnings came in at $3.81 a share, ahead of the $3.27 consensus estimate and $0.54 above the estimate reported by Seeking Alpha.

Subscription revenue and operating income

Subscription revenue was $930.2 million in the quarter, up 18 percent from a year earlier, according to the company release as summarised by Quantisnow. That line made up most of the company total for the period.

GAAP operating income rose to $71.9 million, up from $11.2 million in the same quarter a year earlier, the release said. Billings were $924.3 million at quarter end, up 15 percent year over year, according to StockStory.

The fourth quarter guide

For the fourth quarter, HubSpot guided total revenue to a range of $945.0 million to $947.0 million, up 12 percent year over year. The company guided non-GAAP net income per share to $3.85 to $3.87, based on about 48.9 million diluted shares.

The midpoint of that revenue range is $946 million. StockStory reported that the midpoint sat below the analyst consensus estimate of $964.8 million. That gap is the miss in the headline numbers: the quarter just reported beat estimates, and the quarter ahead is guided below them.

Full year outlook and restructuring charges

HubSpot set full year 2026 revenue guidance at $3.685 billion to $3.687 billion, up 18 percent. Management also raised full year adjusted earnings per share guidance to $13.60 at the midpoint, according to StockStory.

The release also carried a cost item. In connection with its 2026 Restructuring Plan, HubSpot said it expects to incur charges of $65 million to $75 million, with the majority of those charges landing in the fourth quarter of 2026.

HubSpot scheduled its results conference call for Wednesday, Nov 4, 2026 at 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time, where management was set to discuss the quarter and the outlook in detail. Investors reading the release got two stories at once: a third quarter that cleared the bar on revenue, earnings, subscription growth and operating income, and a fourth quarter guide that points to slower growth, at 12 percent, with restructuring charges concentrated in the same period.
