Ferencvaros stunned AC Milan 2-0 at San Siro on Thursday night, the shock result of matchday 4 in the UEFA Europa League league phase. The early kick-offs on Nov. 5, 2026 brought a second big away win, as Bournemouth beat Sparta Prague 3-1 in Prague to make it four wins from four in their debut European campaign. The late kick-offs are now complete, with all nine finals listed in the update above.
Bournemouth sit top of the table after the early results. They have scored 11 goals and conceded two in four games. Milan, by contrast, lost at home in a game a live blog tracked at 0-1 late before a second Ferencvaros goal sealed the result at San Siro in Milan.
Crystal Palace drew 1-1 with Hoffenheim at Selhurst Park in the other English result of the early window. Palace finished with 10 men and still levelled in stoppage time. The night also brought wins for Anderlecht, Levski Sofia, Viktoria Plzen and NEC Nijmegen, plus draws for Real Sociedad with Lyon and for Rennes with Olympiacos.
Why it matters
Bournemouth perfect start changes the shape of the league phase. Four wins from four put the club top of the table and in a strong place for direct progress, with the scoring record to match. Coach Marco Rose side, as reported by TNT Sports, have won with control across the four games, scoring 11 and conceding two.
For Milan, a 0-2 home loss to Ferencvaros is a heavy blow. San Siro is where a club of Milan size expects points. Dropping all three at home leaves work to do in the remaining league phase games and raises pressure on the next fixtures. Ferencvaros leave Milan with a result that will lift their own push for the knockout places.
The context
In Prague, Sparta took the lead and Bournemouth had to come from behind. Ebrima Singhateh scored a solo goal to put Sparta ahead, with the live blog timing from VAVEL placing the Sparta goal at 36 minutes. Bournemouth substitutes turned the game after the break.
Tyler Adams equalised for Bournemouth. Evanilson then put Bournemouth 2-1 up, and Rayan scored the third at 90 minutes. The VAVEL timings placed the Bournemouth goals at 56, 81 and 90 minutes.
At Selhurst Park, Hoffenheim struck early. Prass scored for Hoffenheim at 7 minutes. Palace then lost Adam Wharton to a sending off. Daichi Kamada equalised in stoppage time for the 10-man hosts, and Palace held on for a 1-1 draw that felt far better for the home side than for the visitors.
The other full-time early results filled out the table picture. Anderlecht beat Red Bull Salzburg 2-0, with Winkler among the scorers per the live blog. Levski Sofia beat Jagiellonia Bialystok 1-0. Lillestrom lost 0-1 at home to Viktoria Plzen. NEC Nijmegen beat Omonia Nicosia 3-1. Real Sociedad drew 1-1 with Lyon, and Rennes drew 0-0 with Olympiacos. In the UEFA Conference League, Thun beat Hearts 3-1, with Findlay scoring for Hearts.
What happens next
The late kick-offs on matchday 4 are now all final, and the complete list is in the update at the top of this report. The standings after the early games were a partial picture only.
Bournemouth next task is to protect a perfect record that now carries a target. Milan must respond fast. A home loss of this kind leaves little room for another slip in the next round of games.
Palace will take the late point and move on, but the sending off of Wharton will shape their next selection. Ferencvaros, Anderlecht and Plzen all leave the early window with wins that strengthen their place in the race for the next stage.
