A scoreless first half for Cincinnati

Baltimore scored first on a 48-yard touchdown pass from Tyler Huntley to Zay Flowers in the first quarter. Tyler Loop added field goals of 34 yards and 24 yards in the second quarter, and Baltimore led 13-0 at halftime.

Cincinnati produced little before the break. Sports Illustrated reported that the Bengals had just 59 yards in the first half, their fewest since 2018, before the offense moved on its opening possession after halftime.

Lamar Jackson missed his third game in a row for Baltimore, and Huntley started at quarterback. DAZN noted at halftime that Jackson was missing his third straight game while Baltimore held the 13-0 lead.

Four Burrow touchdown passes after halftime

Burrow threw a 6-yard touchdown pass to Mike Gesicki in the third quarter to cut the lead to 13-7. He then found Tee Higgins from 13 yards in the same quarter, and Cincinnati led 14-13 after three quarters.

Early in the fourth quarter, the Cincinnati defense stopped Baltimore on fourth and 2 from the Cincinnati 12-yard line. Cincinnati.com reported that Huntley's pass was tipped and fell incomplete, which kept the Bengals in front at 14-13.

Samaje Perine added a 1-yard rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter, which extended the run to 21 unanswered points. Burrow then threw a 2-yard touchdown pass to Ja'Marr Chase in the fourth quarter. What the result shows

The scoring plays list five Cincinnati touchdowns, four of them Burrow passes and one of them a short Perine run. Baltimore scored no points after halftime, after Loop's two second-quarter field goals had built the 13-0 lead.

The game turned on two stretches. Cincinnati scored twice in the third quarter to take the lead, then protected that lead with the fourth-down stop near its own goal line early in the fourth quarter before scoring three more touchdowns.

No Burrow passing yardage total was published in the sources used for this report, so none is given here. The confirmed record is the final score, the quarter split, the 59 first-half yards for Cincinnati, and the list of scoring plays from Sportradar, checked against Bengals Wire, Sports Illustrated and Cincinnati.com.
